主持國家自然科學基金、973子課題、863、國家科技支撐計劃等各類課題40余項。在國內外學術刊物和會議上發表論文60余篇,主要發表于Combustion and Flame, Journal of Fluid Mechanics, Physics of Fluids, AIAA Journal of Propulsion and Power等國際著名期刊,出版《液體火箭發動機推力室設計》教材1部。獲得中國發明專利授權12項,實用新型授權6項,申請PCT國際專利2項。作為第一獲獎人獲教育部科技進步二等獎、國防科學技術三等獎、北京市金橋工程一等獎各1次。2010年獲“全國優秀科技工作者”榮譽稱號。2009年獲第12屆茅以升北京青年科技獎。2005年入選北京市科技新星計劃(B)類。2009年度北航藍天學者特聘教授。主講本科生課程《氣體動力學》課程。指導博士研究生、碩士研究生30余人。
